Compact Hall Effect Measurement System

The ezHEMS is making advanced measurements more accessible than ever. This innovative system comes equipped with three measuring heads: Low Temperature (LT), High Temperature (HT), and Room Temperature (RT), allowing you to conduct experiments under varied thermal conditions. The low temperature head employs a cost-effective cooling process using liquid nitrogen—no cryogens necessary!

Positioning your samples is a breeze thanks to the 3-dimensional moving probe system, ensuring an effortless setup and accurate measurements every time. Plus, the user-friendly controller offers precise operation within a current range of +/- 2nA to +/- 20mA. With minimal connections required—just two cables and one USB cord to your computer—you can set up your system in no time.

Characteristics :
  • Resistivity measurement range : from 10⁻⁴ to 10⁹ Ω.cm (depending on the sample)
  • Concentration : from 10⁷ – 10  ²¹ 1/cm ³ (depending on the sample)
  • Current source : from ±2 nA to ±20 mA, ±12 V compliance
  • Minimum measurable Hall voltage : 0.1 µV
    • Supports Van der Pauw and Hall rod patterns
  • Magnetic field : 0.6 Tesla or 1 Tesla (permanent magnet)
  • Temperature range : 80-800K with a resolution of ±0.2K for low temperatures and ±0.1K for high temperatures. The entire temperature range in one system.

Higher or lower temperatures are optional.

Resistance thermometer Pt-100, heater 750 K and PID temperature controller.

Controlling a computer via USB interface.

  • Sample sizes : from 5x5mm to 15mm x 15mm and thickness <2mm

Automatic movement of magnets controlled by ezHEMS Control software.
